Why Choose God?

There are many reasons why people choose to trust and serve God. Some people may have a personal experience that led them to Him, while others may have grown up in a home where God was always talked about. No matter what the reason is, there are countless benefits to choosing, trusting and serving God. Here are just 5 reasons (amongst so many) why we believe you should choose and put your faith in Him!

01.

God’s Word Is Absolutely And Completely True

And now, O Lord GOD, you are God, and your words are true, and you have promised this good thing to your servant (2 Samuel 7:28). The Word of God is real in its divine strength, and it can function only for those who believe. The natural man cannot see the truth in the word of God, but the child of God must see the living truth of His word.

When the Word of God takes precedence in people’s hearts, it has the power to change their lives and free them from the slavery of the devil. Praying according to the Word of God, putting first things first often yields results.

02.

God Does Not Lie

God is not man, that he should lie, or a son of man, that he should change his mind. Has he said, and will he not do it? Or has he spoken, and will he not fulfil it? (Numbers 23:19)

Human beings lie and cheat others. Yet God is truly and infinitely holy. He can't lie. Satan would try to make us doubt the reality of God. So the question is still what am I going to believe - my eyes, my thoughts, my own evaluation of things, or the word of God? God is not lying, and he has never lied. That's why we can trust God.

03.

God is Not Surprised or Baffled at Your Situation

There is nothing new under the sun. God has seen it all, heard it all, knows it all.  What has been will be again, what has been done will be done again. (Ecclesiastes 1:9)

Since nothing can shake him, we can go to him with all our worries and concerns. He hems us back and forth and holds his hand over us. Nothing about our condition would shock God. (Psalms 139:5)  In that knowledge, we can trust Him to be our rock, our firm unwavering foundation.

04.

Nothing Is Too Hard For God

Ah, sovereign Lord, You have made the heavens and the earth by Your great power and outstretched arm. Nothing is too hard for You. (Jeremiah 32:17) Period.

Did you see that? It’s not a question mark or an exclamation point. It’s a period; fact.

Nothing. Is too hard for God.

05.

God Knows Your Needs Better Than You Do, and Before You Do

Psalm 13:3 states that the creator of your soul is acquainted with all your ways. So much so that the number of hairs on your head is known. Psalm twenty-three  says that our shepherd, our feeder, is the Lord. And as such, we should contend that we will not lack anything good that is really important for life and godliness.
