Personal Data Privacy
Statement / Notice.
The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) (EU) 2016/679 is a regulation in EU law on data protection and privacy for all individuals within the European Union and the European Economic Area, taking effect from 25 May 2018 and replacing the Data Protection Act.
The new regulations give individuals greater control over the use made of their personal data by Moss Side Seventh-day Adventist Church. In compliance with the regulations all members, friends, and guardians in contact with our church will receive communication requesting explicit consent for the processing of personal data.
In addition, the Personal Data Privacy Statement attached below sets out how the North England Conference of Seventh-day Adventists ("NEC"), as a data controller, will use the personal data of any individual it comes into contact with in fulfilling the purposes of 'the church body' - under which the Moss Side Seventh-day Adventist Church is legally bound.
Should you have any questions regarding the GDPR arrangements being adopted by our church, please email our core group at contact@mssda.co.uk - we will endeavour to respond to your enquiry as quickly as possible.
Contact can also be made with the Data Protection Officer ("DPO") for NEC by letter at:
22 Zulla Road, Nottingham NG3 5DB or by email at gdpr@necadventist.org.uk.
